München

Grüße aus München! I’m back at home and finally I have time to share about my absolutely fantastic trip in München. I arrived in München on Thurday afternoon. It was quite late when I was at the hotel so on Thursday I just walked to the city centre to see what it is like. People were preparing the Christmas market. On Marienplazt was lovely Christmas tree.
On Friday I met my friend from Hamburg. I met her first time in München. I was a bit worried will I find her in Marienplazt and how she is in person but she was very lovely person. We had fun day walking around the city. We also did a little shopping. I bought lots of FC Bayern München mercharndise, like a new hat for the winter and Christmas calender ( I got Philipp Lahm today) and lots more…  On evening we had warm cup of yummy Glühwein with rum and later on evening we went to famous beerhouse in München and I had a 1 liter of beer. Yummy!

This photo is taken at Isir river. Very lovely area to have a walk.

It's time for Glühwein!

On Saturday morning I woke up early coz I had to catch 7:53am train to Füssen. On train I met this lovely girl from Hong Kong. We talked and talked and decided to spend the day together in Füssen and Neuschwanstein. Neuschwanstein is one the most pretties places I have ever seen and been to. I warmly recommend everybody to visit there.  On Sunday I went to Dachau with my a new friend from Hong Kong. We visited in Dachau concentration camp which was pretty creepy place to be.
To me visiting in around Bavaria was a prefect Holiday and I wanna visit there again some day!

Candle holders

I made candle holders of glass jars a few days ago. Now I gonna tell you how I made them. It’s quite simple, but a bit messy. So make sure that you have an old magazine or paper on the table when you’re making the candle holders. So let’s get started.

To make candle holders you need glass jars, glitter powder and waterbase sealer. You also gonna need some kind of sponge or brush and lid of glass jar(s)
First you need to wash the glass jar(s).  Make sure that there’s no glue stains on the glass. The result won’t look pretty if there’s any glue stains on the glass jar. When you have a clean glass jar you are ready to decorate it. Now you gonna need the waterbase sealer and glitter powder. I used golden and white one.

I put waterbase sealer on lid of the glass jar. I painted the glass jar with the water base sealer by using sponge. Then I sprinkled glitter powder all over the glass jar. I let it dry for 2 hours and then I painted it again with waterbase sealer. You don’t have to paint it again after drying but I strongly recommed it coz otherwise you will have glitter all over your house.

And this was the result:

And white one, I think it looks a bit like snowflakes on the window

When white candle holder was dry I wrapped hemp string around the collum for a 4-5 time and then I made a bow.  I gonna give the white one as Christmas present. I think selfmade candle holders are a new idea as Christmas present. And it’s also very simple way to decorate your own house.

If you have any questions about how to make candle holders of glass jars just asks me. And if you’re interested other ways to decorate glass jars, then ask again. I have a few other ways to decorate them too. Also very easy ones and less messy than using the glitter.

Till next time~~~
